Mr. Johnston has served as executive chairman of the board since 2020 and previously served as president and CEO of Cincinnati Financial from 2011 to 2024. From 2008 to 2011, he was CFO, senior vice president and secretary for both the company and The Cincinnati Insurance Company. He holds designations as a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.
