How Alpha uses cookies and similar technologies on alpha.ac and boardbrief.alpha.ac.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Alpha uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand aggregate usage, and manage embedded third-party content. You can manage your preferences at any time.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, improve performance, and provide analytics. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels; in this notice we refer to all of them as "cookies".
Alpha does not send contact-form values, email addresses, or other user-provided data to Google for enhanced conversions. The contact page offers optional LinkedIn AutoFill. When that component loads, LinkedIn may receive technical and interaction data under its own privacy and cookie policies.
A limited number of trusted providers may set cookies on our behalf (for example, our Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, Vercel analytics, LinkedIn AutoFill, video embeds, and payment processors used during checkout for Council membership). Their handling of information is governed by our agreements and their applicable privacy terms.
Where required, we present a consent banner on first visit. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" control in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect parts of the site.
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies typically expire between 30 days and 13 months from the date they are set or refreshed.
We will update this notice when our cookie use changes and revise the "Last updated" date above.
