H. Palmer Proctor, Jr. has served as Chief Executive Officer of Ameris Bancorp and Ameris Bank since July 2019. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank and its holding company, Fidelity Southern Corporation, until their merger with Ameris in July 2019. He previously served as Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association.
