Dino DiPerna joined Ciena in 2010 through the acquisition of Nortel's optical business and has served as SVP of Global Research and Development since October 2023, directing development of Ciena's optical networking, network control, and routing products. He previously held senior engineering roles at Nortel for more than two decades.
